Nah -- you can whine all you want -- you didn't bargain for hail. You bargained for mudslides. Likewise, I can whine about the cold, but I have to shut up and take it like a man when it hits 120°.

yeah, how do you do that? it has hit 115° in the valley once or twice since i have been in kalifornia, but usually it is around 95° or so with some 100° at times. i cant imagine 120° day in and day out. i think i would melt.

I really love the summers here. That said, I enjoy them the most during the mornings and evenings. Mid-day is a good time to stay inside and work.

Humidity is a huge factor. Try going to southeastern Asia in Monsoon season in August....you'll get the idea

Nah, I heard a comedian explain the problem.

Shrek2 was nominated for a few Oscars.

The Passion of the Christ got only one nomination.

God is mad at Hollywood and he is making people in So. California pay.

BTW, were are neighbors of sorts.

Its just a little rain. At least you guys don't have to deal with winter.

We will probably start to get a lot of rain next after the snow clears out in a month or so.

Howdy Ron,
I can tell you what your weather is going to be 1 to 2 days ahead. Whatever comes through El Mirage, Cal. hits El Mirage, Arizona and Phoenix is close to El Mirage.
The other day I heard that Cal. leads the country in tornados this year.

It's been raining steady here in the swamp since last night. I have a lake in my backyard where I normally have a creek. It's about 30 feet elevation below my house so I'm not too worried! It takes a LOT of water to wash away a swamp!!!
