How do I transfer T-Bird/Firefox settings/files to another computer?

Another stoopid computer question.

I want to transfer my Mozilla settings and files from my limping laptop over to a new desktop. I can't seem to find where the files are located. I've found the driver files, but can't find the files with my T-bird address book and Firefox bookmarks. Anyone know the filenames where these data are stored?

TIA

I don't have a direct answer but try going to a new site and save a link. After that do a search for new files on the computer. Where you find the newest file is probably where all other links will be.

Thanks Tracy, I finally found out how to import my bookmarks into Firefox, but T-bird doesn't seem to have the capability to import settings/address books directly from another T-bird account--strange. I can import from Eudora, Outlook or Outlook Express, but not from another Mozilla product.

Google Thunderbird export I forgot the name of the file you need to copy, but it's fairly easy to do you have to dig in the files a little thats all.

Ya, I finally found it. Had to manually import the profile files, then tell T-Bird to accept them in place of the default files--not a user friendly process.
