I guess if you live in an environment where large, hostile flesh-eating mammals routinely hunt for prey like yourself in your neck of the woods, you gotta have some "street smarts" to survive (or in this case, "jungle smarts")...

...and if you've managed to live to 73, you're pretty much a "Yoda".

This reminds me of a thread I read in another discussion forum (music) about people (gangs) in some parts of Africa having pet hyenas and baboons as pets or something. It's a macho thing, much like how gangstaz here have pit bulls. Man, you should see these hyenas in leashes. I didn't know they were that huge! They make pit bulls look like pet chihuahuas!
