S-Class Leather Question - PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum

After sitting in my friend's 2000 S500, I noticed the leather felt kinda hard. The newer S-Class uses softer leather.. Is this the case or am I just imagining things. Or is the 2000 just old and the leather got hard. (?)

There are two or three grades of leather available in the S-class. Maybe you're comparing different grades.
