Maybe I should have added that I have a job. I am finishing training. I work for a PDR guy (Roy) that also repairs plastic bumpers for Jim Ellis Saab and Mazda of Marietta. I make like $400 a week doing pretty much nothing. In a couple weeks I will be done trainging and be driving the work truck (we are 100% mobile, all the paint and guns and everything are in the truck) so I will be making more like $1200 to (this time next year) $2500 a week. Roy, the owner, was running everything alone, and made $175,00 from this small account alone. Not to mention PDR, that I have nothing to do with. But he has no ambition, which I have a lot of. The bumper repair is what I am taking over.

Thing is I am caught in teh middle. New to the "real" world, but I am about to be making decent money. I just need something to fill the time until I start making enough money to have some extra. $300 to $400 a week leaves some extra, but I save it. @ 1200 a week I can save and then have some extra.

I am doing the piano lessons because it is something I have always wanted to do. I want a Baldwin in my great room so can play when I want. I had forgotten about the dance lessons, that is something I really want to learn as well.

Anyway. nice to see some responce.

I took up many hobbies in my spare time, the only down side of it all is, everytime I take up a new hobby, I realize my job dosn't pay enough for me to go all out on that hobby, so I'm limited. I need to find a better job, but so far I'm getting nowhere. Fresh out of school, I guess I need some experiance to get things rolling, although I thought 10 years experiance in IT would get me something, guess I was wrong.

xp

Do a search for local theater in your area and volunteer to work backstage or to help paint or construct the sets. It's a great way to meet new people who band together to create something nice. I met my wife that way and the hottest girls I was with before my wife were in theater.
If you have no experience in theater, everyone is willing to train someone who wants to help.
Recent story, MILF's husband died unexpectedly of a heart attack. After a reasonable greiving period, like about a year, she hooked up with a 23 yr. old. She's been with him for quite a while now and she's not having any more kids. Life is good for the 23 yr. old. Theater. I'm telling you. If you don't find anything you like at the first, try a second,or go back and do a different show. New people are involved for most every show. There are cast parties, good food, nice people, and you maybe learn new things, which is never bad.

Get married and you will never have to worry what to do.....your wife will tell you what to do.

And when and for how long you will be going there.....

...and "When are you coming back?" Answer: When I return.

...and "Why don't you do it this way instead" or do this instead while they're not the one doing it, whatever 'it' happens to be.

Good advice for a spouse....never start a sentence off with "Why don't you..." :P

Run for president. Face it, you couldn't be any worse than what we have now.

Want to bet....You had Clinton....and even worse you had Carter.

R Leo 11-16-2005 03:48 PM

Don't forget Hoover! Another great Republican.

Carter's problem was that unwittingly he took on the CoE and Brueau of Reclamation...simultaneously! The two-front war is always a bad idea.

Actually, Clinton wasn't that all that bad.
