Ski Rack for a convertable...

My daily driver is a 2002 Audi TT 225 Roadster. I plan on hitting the slopes this winter, but without putting the top down, there is no way to fit skis in the car. Audi offers a trunk mount rack, but it is $1200+. Any recommendations? What about a window mount ski rack like this one: http://www.barrecrafters.com/prod/skisnow3.html

On a side note, I am selling a good roof rack that mounts onto the gutters of the car...

Or maybe the company that makes these makes one for the TT? Looks like a Thule to me. Might be worth asking what the width is!

make sure to grease your muffler bearings before hand and check the windshield wash fluid before leaving
