To all : said many times, but thanks.

This sight has helped me turn the hooptie POS that I bought in June into the eye catching, smooth running car it is today. I would like to extend many thanks to everyone on this sight, for without it, the POS I bought in June would be the POS I drive in December. Once again, Thank You!

We all should express our thanks to the many members of this forum who have given help to getting others on the road!

I am certainly thankful for the thousands of dollars saved by taking forum members' advice and getting my hands dirty. MBs to me were sort of a black box prior to joining this forum.

My W124 was once destined to be sent out of my garage off to a used car lot...it has a whole new life now, and is a keeper!

I have helped and been helped. My favorite was a noise in the dash of my TE that was driving me crazy, like a marble rolling around when I stopped and started. I was ready to tear the dash out or sell the car, whichever came first. Someone,,, and I thank them dearly,,, told me,,, "A pencil went down your defroster ducts and is rolling around under your feet". I pulled up the carpet, opened the ductwork, and he was wrong,,,, there were TWO pencils there. This forum is too great for words.

I wish I'd been smart and knowledgeable enough to be worthy of the gratitude. But that's okay, I'll tell Mrs Bot that I got thanked for my contribution and she'll swear I'm lying.

I'll trade her for a couple of camels.

Cigarettes.

Bot

PS Not really. Couldn't stand the lonely coffin.

Brian Bosworth in a Sports Illustrated article said he work at a GM plant and they would put all kind of crap inside the doors just to piss off some rich guy buying a new car.
