I have looked at a few BMW's, and I have found that quite a few of them have had electric problems. I wanted to get a 633 or 635 CSI, but I'm having a hard time finding a good one. I have always liked the Mercedes SEC. I'm thinking about looking at an 87 that came up for sale, but I'm not sure if I wan't to drive that far to look or not. Is 87 a good year for the 560 SEC? Also, what is the going price for a good one? Thanks for any information.

They are an awsome car. Pretty much a W126 with a coupe body so parts are pretty cheap and they are nice and simple.

As to price well that is all over the place. Nice AMG's seem to go in the mid to low $30k range. I am no 560SEC pricing expert but real cherry examples seem to be in the $10k-$25k range. With decent drivers under $10k and beaters/parts cars $5k and less.
