The best relationships occur as a consequence of doing what comes naturally (and I'm not necessarily referring to hedonism), don't they? IOW, just look for a good time with a good friend and stay open to wherever it leads. After all, life is about the journey. Choosing a conclusion (in this case, relationship) first, then forcing yourself on a path to that end doesn't seem like the healthiest way to go.

Good grief, now you spoiled the fun with a serious post...although I have several teenagers at home going through their first goofy little relationships and I feel your pain. If I have to deal with one more boo-hoo'ing 17 year old because her love interest "likes" her best friend I'm gonna puke. I must confess I laughed myself sick when she told me her first little boyfriend came out to his family and friends recently, and is in some sort of committed relationship with his boyfriend. I have no issue with homosexuality but my wife keeps asking her what she did to turn the poor kid gay.
