There was a piranha forum where they posted videos of a mouse being fed to a school of piranhas inside this homemade aquarium...they were quite viscious...

I am not a tree hugger or a PETA devotee, but that video pissed me off.

I am not a big fan of feeding live bait. If the f*'ing centipede was too blind too see and catch its own food, then it does not deserve to live!

I'd love to dump the a@@hole who filmed the video into a small cage with a hungry polar bear, or into a tank with a couple of hungry white sharks. Then I'd use a big pole to push him into the bear, or shark, as he tried to get away.

See how much fun it would be to film that.

I don't like to intentionally cause pain and suffering on a sentient being, just for giggles. And I don't like people who do that, or who get off on that.

And yes, I eat steak and chicken and fish, so call me a hypocrite if you want to.

I have to agree with you. It is cruel both ways since I'm sure that "thing" didn't get in the tank on its own either.

Yeah, the video was disturbing. I don't have a problem with feeding pets live food, but the way this was done was somewhat sadistic.

Although I do remember as a kid, catching a small red centipede. It bit me and I was surprised how much it hurt. They're pretty fierce predators it seems...

X2.

Unless there's a good reason for live-feeding, and there sometimes are, what's the point? More important is the fact that this dumb@ss filmed it and posted it on the 'net. Says more about the cameraman and "feather operator" than anything.

I often travel to Santa Fe, NM. I've seen some gnarly creatures out that way. I've never seen a jacklope though (Hogweed would know what I am talking about)
