Swiss watches
I noticed somebody mentioned Swiss watches. Anybody interested in fine mechanical watches in addition to fine automobiles?
What brands/models do you like? I have a couple of Brietlings, a Chronoswiss, and a Girard Perregeaux. I love the Chronoswiss Opus. It's an open skeleton watch with all the works exposed front and back. |

Do a search; there was a lengthy (and very interesting) watch thread a year or two ago. You could do a public service by resurrecting it and adding your comments to the end..

I think this is the mother of all Swiss watch threads. It looks like it has over 200 responses and almost 10,500 views:

Rolex is the best $1000 watch you can get for $5000, I will give it that.

Now, a old Submariner from the early James Bond era is different. They keep good time and are indestructable. I prefer Omega or Longines. |
