Computer Question
I have a MB service manual CD which used to run fine on my computer. Now, when I try to run it, I get a warning that it is not compatible with my browser, and that I should update my browser. But updating the browser does not help. In fact, I suspect that it is the updated browser that is causing the problem in the first place, since the program ran okay a year ago.
Anyone have a solution to this problem? I have Windows XP, HP computer. |

I get that with mine too. I think it has to do with the way the CD is structured to auto-run using Adobe PDFs (issue with the Adobe plug-in and the browser). Not a big deal, I just navigate to one of the articles in the CD to launch it and then it works fine from there.

Windows Explorer > navigate to CD drive e.g. "E:\" > navigate into folder of contents and open a random .pdf article. This will launch the CD and allow you to get to the main menu.
