As a soon to be professional salesperson I take myself and my job seriously. I will wear a suit, and it will be pretty nice.

First impressions are only made once, so dress to show you mean business.

Also you don't want to look like the copy machine repair guy in a cheap suit.

Brooks Brothers are nice but conservative. I like them, probably will buy a couple. But I want a little flash, I'm a young guy and want to make a statement.

Armani, has some nice suits. Traditional darker colors, or you can go with silver or white, to stand out.

It depends what you are looking for, I want to be noticed.

Wearing a nice suit not only alters people's perception of you, it alters the way you look at yourself. In a suit you walk different, talk different, feel different. All for the better I say.

I think that's the key, Kuan. A balance between what the world expects and what gives oneconfidence.

Dress to enhance one's assets. For men that is usually about projecting confidence and power. So wear attire that supports that which is within and for goodness sake, don't wear clothes that detract from your natural assets.

Appropriate clothing and attitude wont get you a job, but inappropriate clothing and attitude sure can keep you from one.

This is true, and precisely why I chose not to wear a suit when I interviewed for the job I currently have. I knew the school was looking for a good teacher and at the time I always taught in jeans. I figured that if I wore a suit it might put me off my game so I deliberately chose to try to recreate my classroom, including my dress. It worked. However, the Dean upon hiring me clearly stated that the school did not allow people to teach in jeans. (outright lie by the way). Of course, this doesn't show that my course of action was the wisest, but it appears to have been effective in this one instance. That's why I think it all depends on the circumstances.

Wear a dark suit.....your pre interview nervousness may cause your bladder to forget it's primary function. The ensuing result won't show & you'll enjoy that nice warm feeling during the interview.

You're selling yourself when you interview. If it's a sales job you're interviewing with someone that expects you to dress for the job, and to understand that already. Car sales = cheap polyester sportcoat – finance = fine dark blue suit – factory rep = dress shirt and slacks – pimp = pimped
