That was merely my point. Where does it all start and stop. What defines genetics from defects. Could be a matter of perception and not science in some cases. What defines physician negligence from routine care? What advice should a physician be obligated to give. Should he be required to recommend pregnancy termination because of suspected or founded defects? And you are right on, which ones justify and which ones don't. Some would argue that no birth defect no matter how severe would justify termination.

And you are right too about the representation of those people, that was not my point. I saw, perhaps wrong, somebody exploiting a situation in an attempt to gain monetary value.

As someone who works with people who have developmental disabiities, this is fascinating but somewhat alarming to me. What do you guys think?
If they are severly disabled me thinks someone put them up to it????

Probably, but in the case of the older person I'm uncertain after reading the article. That woman may be cognizant enough to come up with the idea or at least knowingly agree with someone who suggests it.

But given that the other plaintiff was a 5-year-old, methinks you're probably right.
