Something is very fishy about this story.

60 feet? 60? How do you get in and out of a 60' deep hole?

What type of soil can you be digging through that won't collapse?

How big of a diameter are we talking here, Falling down a well wide, or open pit mining wide?

I gotta call bull$hit on this one. The logistics of digging a six story hole are too great for one guy and any two idiots who would agree to work under these circumstances.
