From the Miami Herald.

Cuban is a bit of a clown, but he's pretty much dead-on with his criticism of the officiating so far. I was pulling for the Bulls and San Antonio, and have no real interest either way in the championship. After the beating Dallas took from the zebras in games 3 and 5, though, I'm rooting for them just to spite the league (like they care what I think).
This is why I prefer NCAA ball; the NBA has become too scripted. Create and protect "stars" with conditional calls. Too bad it goes that way!

Cuban needs to do some reffing of intra-squad matchups to get a feel for how hard it is. I used to ref high-school age games and it's way harder than it looks in the stands. Being close is almost a handicap some times.
The guy's a crybaby -- things don't go his way and it's somebody else's fault. His coach is just about as bad. The timeout fiasco at the end of game 5 was coach's fault -- too hyper-active. I was pulling for Dallas but I began to realize that I like Riley a lot better than the Dallas coach and I'm glad to see Alonzo Mourning finally grab the brass ring. Guy played an amazing game off the bench in game 6. Gary Payton may be a shameless trash-talker and one strange looking dude but he sure pulled off some clutch maneuvers in crunch time. Him and Mourning are both around 36, 37.
