A/C Problem on my GMC Sonoma
It' the same as a Chevy S10 pick-up truck. I looked around the net and didn't feel like joining any other boards, so I'm hoping someone here can help.
Anyway, the blower only works on the top two speeds. A/C and heat work fine, just no air on the two lowest speeds. I'm thinking it is either the switch or the blower motor resistor. Anyone know where the resistor is located? Is this even consistent with the symptoms? Thanks. David. |

Hi, don't know about your Sonoma, but on my S10, there's a dropping resistor assembly mounted on top of the evaporator and blower assy, just to the right of and behind the accumulator. (big shiny aluminum cylinder) The resistor pack is mounted right on top of the case, easy to get to. Probably the resistor assembly because it fails on more than one switch position.
