Glad to hear that you made contact with the seller. It's good to see these cars going to good homes, where they will be treated with care.
Hope everything goes well for you on Saturday.

That's a beautiful car. Congratulations. You must post more pictures when you finally pick up the car.

My point is that it's simply nonsense to suggest that one should do something at the "last possible moment" when, in fact, there is no way to know ahead of time when the "last possible moment" takes place! The notion of leaving negative feedback at the last moment is a piece of misinformation that isn't true no matter how many times it is cheerfully repeated by those who don't know any better. I also have not yet left negative feedback for another party on eBay. It might come to that some day, but I, too, have had significant success working things out with sellers when problems have arisen. I consider negative feedback to only be for "when diplomacy fails". If I were ever to feel compelled to leave negative feedback, it wouldn't be done without careful consideration. It also wouldn't be a sneaky, "I'll-try-to-slap-you-when-you-can't-slap-me-back" affair, either. I would simply leave honest, factual feedback and get on with it. If the seller were to leave me a "retaliatory neg.", well, golly, I guess I just might survive it, given enough time and suitable therapy. |

Go back to the originating post if you will. Guys buys a car. I don't care if it's a $500 car of a $250,000 car. It's a CAR. The seller should have been more responsive irregardless of his work schedule. I mean just how long does it take to drop a dime or shoot an "warm-n-fuzzy" email following the sale? If you can't do that, you have NO business selling in a "blind" market like eBay.
