I am going to buy a bunch of products all at one time to restore my '87 560 SL and want to buy most, if not all, from one vendor, hopefully for a volume discount. For that reason, I plan to use Performance Products, who I have used before on small items with success.

The two most expensive items I will purchase are a new soft top (German canvas) and new leather seat covers. I have a local trim shop that will do a quality job on the installation for a reasonable price on labor but they are high on the "parts" end. I guess that's where they make their money. They are willing to install whatever I purchase for the same labor price but won't guarantee the fit unless they purchase the parts. I want to save money but not at the expense of a poor quality job.

Question: Has anyone bought a soft top and/or leather seat covers from Performance Products? Were you pleased with the quality? Do seals come with the soft top or will I need to purchase those separately? Thanks in advance.
