By the way, VW made a fully self driving version of the Golf GTi '53+1' . The car drives slowly around track sensing the pattern of cones with sensors in the front .
After it's computer gather's all the info it goes through the track at "Top" speed with wheels screeching, self steering, self braking . I've seen this on the BBC and the reporter seated in the driver's seat was screaming and he could barely keep his hands off the steering wheel .Also, this car is linked with GPS satellites making it's computer and the car itself accurate within an inch . The computer's time through the course was the quickest and none of the human driver's were able to do better . It's not in production because of obvious reasons like "Pedestrians" or anything that will cause an accident and put law suits at the doors of Volkswagen AG .This is not a thread, I just didn't know how to post this Commercial for everyone to see . I think it's beautiful !
