Great video! Wish we could see this kind of footage in the news instead of the propaganda crap we get daily!

Must be some rough neighborhoods where bad guys are shootin' at eight year olds. A new foundation/fund is in order.

Interview with Paul Tibbetts:

Tibbets was equally straight-forward on the issue of collateral damage, and concerns over civilian casualties, as evidenced by this exchange with Studs Terkel in 2002:

Terkel: One last thing, when you hear people say, "Let's nuke 'em," "Let's nuke these people," what do you think?

Tibbets: Oh, I wouldn't hesitate if I had the choice. I'd wipe 'em out. You're gonna kill innocent people at the same time, but we've never fought a damn war anywhere in the world where they didn't kill innocent people. If the newspapers would just cut out the ****: "You've killed so many civilians." That's their tough luck for being there."

In 1945 Japan, it was a useful weapon. Way more would have been lost on both sides in an invasion of the Japanese mainland.

Can't think of a single time since then when nukes would have had a net upside. Whataya know: all world leaders have de-facto concurred with that.

This talk of nuking the bastids is cheap.
