In the showroom, the narrator says that the exhaust does not produce black smoke or have have the typical diesel smell like older diesel engines.
When driving, he explains that in ten years of technical development, the three things that diesel engines have been known for: slow, dirty, and noisey have been greatly improved. The video then explains the cost of the car, it's fuel economy, and performance, and that it will compete with Lexus' hybrid cars.

Cool videos. Thanks for the translation I kind of figured thats what they are saying.
Japanese is a very hard language to pick up. I struggled with latin, I have zero ability to ever pick up Japanese.
