Glucosamine Chondroitin Plus MSM

Does anyone know of a source for Glucosamine Chondroitin with MSM that is more reasonable than local shelves? Some may not believe in the stuff yet I have some family members using it and I was shocked to see how much they were paying for it.
Thanks
Steve

Since it does work I think it is a good bang for the buck and I think the GNC brand is like $20 a bottle and that lasts for a month.

When my dog was put on it for a while, the vet told me it was a long term thing. Don't expect to see results immediately. Put him on it for months and took him off for a bit. No change. The only thing that worked was a glucosamine shot. http://www.adequancanine.us/ has it and I wonder if they are developing a human version. Adequan® Canine (polysulfated glycosaminoglycan), the only FDA-approved* disease modifying osteoarthritis drug (DMOAD). They actually have irridiated particles in it during testing and proved that it did settle in the joints as opposed to the oral ones that get digested and who knows how much actually gets absorbed into the joints.

Cheap, and profits go to a good cause. Scroll down a bit for the HCL and MSM - you can get them both in bulk.

We don't need it, but we've used it for years on our dogs. Makes a huge difference as they get older.

I've referred many folks to the above site, and they were just as satisfied as they were with the stuff they paid insane prices for at GNC. Even though it's directed at dogs, they do have independant certificates of analysis available...something you can't get with the store bought stuff.

Nobody's croaked yet.

I don't know if Costco is a nation-wide dealy but they have some good supplement prices. I've been using SAM-e for a few years and they have the best price I've found on that.

Now if you'll excuse me, I just remembered that I forgot to take my Gluc./MSM/Chondroitin today.

Purely anecdotal, but . .

I began to have a lot of racket coming from my knees and was worried that years of running was finally catching up to me. Started taking this stuff and I have to say I believe it really does help.

It's supposed to help rebuild the stuff that makes your bones slide against each other in your joints. Puritans Pride or Vitamin World stores are pretty good.

Sorry, I'm a stockholder and had to insert that shameless plug in there. I am sincere about the efficacy of this particular suppliment, though.

Glucosamine is fine but Condroitin is to large ( source is from the shells of shell fish) for the body to adsorb it.
Save alot of money by not going for the combo, and just buy straight glucosamine.
Try it and you will save money and get same results...

Read the stuff about the metabolic syndrome and take it to heart. If you know someone who has health problems and has a waistline approaching or over forty inches you need not look any further for the cause of their problems. Get the fat off and then look for answers to any problems that are left. Metabolic problems then inflammatory problems and there are your arthritis and your joint problems. You can probably make it all go away.

Diet, stretching and excercise will avoid a great many of our health complaints.

People have a compaint, they want to eat a pill. The real solution is to not eat so much.

I'll definitely agree with that but joint deterioration happens even with the fittest of people.

I don't mind getting old but I want to be able to work until I'm 75 cause I'm going to have to.

If you get Dr Donohue in your local paper he has an article on fatty liver today. He has another article today on non-alcoholic cirrhosis of the liver.

This is just starting to make mainstream recognition and it will take a while for really good info to emerge or for the food industry to kill the story.

Stop eating hydrogenated fats, high fructose corn syrup, and flour. Avoid sugars and starches as much as possible. Food grows it does not come from a factory. Factory food is poison to your system. Eat everything as close to the way it grew as possible.

Your joints are lubricated and nourished differently than most of the tissue in your body. Read about synovial fluid to get started. Exercise and stretching are needed to maintain the health of your joints.
