Trailer wiring

I am rewiring a horse trailer. I planned to solder the connections, but the only terminals I can find are the crimp-on type.

I went to www.mscdirect.com. They list some terminals that are described as solder-type, but they have heat shrink insulators already on them. Here's an example: http://www1.mscdirect.com/CGI/NNSRIT?PMPXNO=9195670&PMT4NO=10192090

How can I solder something like that?

What's the best type of terminal to use and where can I get them?

I rewired our soccer team trailer (yeah, SOCCER TEAM trailer) last summer and soldered the leads as well.

I bought heat shrink tubing from Fry's (Radio Shack also carries it). I didn't use any lug or spade-type terminals, and if any were already on the harness, I just cut them off.

So the only task was to prewire (twist wires together) and test the system first. Then, insert heat shrink sections over each wire prior to soldering, solder the connection, slip the heat shrink over that, and heat the tubing.

I did the same thing on my boat trailer ten years ago and never had a problem.
