Where to re-fill a fire extinguisher

I had to use mine when I hit the fuel lines while welding the floor pan on my Rover P6.

Glad to see you lived to write about it...call your local fire department, sometimes they will do it for you.

You might try checking the yellow pages of the phone book, too. There are outfits that specialize in the sale and service of such equipment.

Most times you have to take it to a company that does that sort of thing. Fyr-fighter Co. comes to mind. For the small ones, it can cost more than just buying a new one. Call them and check prices then check Sears or HomeDepot for new prices. And yean, I keep a large one mounted on the wall in hte garage and a couple more up in the house). Probably just the ex-firefighter in me. It takes so little to put out a fire in the first 5-10 minutes, and so mush 10 minutes after that. Good job on having one handy. Most welders I know are smart like that.
