Look at this sunuvabuck!

Stepped out side 2 minutes ago and this Abrams tank was setting up shop in my doorway. Midwest here so I'm sure it's not poisonous. I put the lens right up to him and he shot me a glare like my wife when she catches me rummaging around in her purse for money.

I think he was wearing a miners helmet in this one:

Oh it's poisonous alright,,, to what degree is a different story. We get banana and wolf spiders so big here in Florida that they'll eat a 6 inch lizard. Although there not that poisonous, a bite may end you up in the emergency room.

He was about the size of a silver dollar, his abdomen the size of a dime. I believe it was a Weaver spider http://tinyurl.com/zs79v
He packed up his belongings and was gone by dawn.

I had one of those or something like it outside my front door. He would be there at night and goine in the morning, spinning a temporary web and catching all kinds of bugs that were attracted to my porchlight. I'm not sure this was the same, it had dark brown stripes over tan on the legs, and the body was solid tan, about dime sized. Haven't seen it for two days, I guess he's full. Looks like it was a funnel web spider;
