I'm mostly stuck on the rock of the 70's and early 80's... Either that, or modern bands who SOUND like they're from the 70's or early 80's! :D

Actually, there was some good rock going in the early 90's as well (briefly, at least)... Jane's Addiction, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, etc....

The 70s were a good time.

No one has mentioned the Kinks yet (yes, not from the 70s, but still good).

My dad has one of The Kinks CDs around here somewheres. I think the last time I saw it, it was being loaded into the CD player of the ML.

If you dig old Black Sabbath, then you should check out that new band I mentioned in an earlier post... Wolfmother.

Very "70's rock" kind of sound. The singer/guitarist is sporting an impressive anglo-fro as well! :)

Right, as we are eating dinner, we are listening to "How much I feel" by Ambrosia.

I'm on a 70's kick right now. My iPod is loaded with about 9,000 songs. :D

O.K., now that Ambrosia is over, I'm queuing up Lou Rawls, "Love Songs" CD.

Let's start out with "Lady Love".

We're still sitting here eating. Lou Rawl was too heavy for the twins, so they are now running and screaming in the backyard.

My wife doesn't seem to be too crazy for Lou Rawls.

I'm queueing up my catalog of Bob Seger.

Let's start out with Night Moves and see if Mrs. S. can dig it.
