Right now I'm listening to Gordon Lightfoot, "Sundown".

Terrific song (and album).

Other than Jim Croce, no other artist reminds me of my childhood in the 1970's than Gordon Lightfoot.

Lately I've been listening to Black Uhuru in the car and a lot of Grateful Dead and Ween while unpacking in the new house. My wife was listening to Bob Dylan all night while she wrote a proposal so I, too, was listening to him.

I just got the new Gorillaz CD recently. I like that a lot.

I bumped into them about 2 years ago at a bar in Charlotte. Their song, "I Like The Cocaine" touched me, in a subtle way

Seriously, I liked the show, and have actually caught them on XM a few times since.

My wife has been making fun of me because she caught me listening to Ben Folds Five. OK, I admit it. Their Austin City Limits show was awesome, and they have been playing it on XM Cafe for the past few weeks. I highly recommend it if you find yourself white-knuckling or otherwise stressed out.

My wife and I have some things in common regarding listening music (GD, Police, Phish, Bob Dylan, Marley, Joe Cocker, War, Janis, Jimi, Joni Mitchell, ect....), but she abhors all Country and hates two of my favorite artists in particular: John Prine and Elvis Costello.

Do you believe Elvis Costello is married to Diana Krall?

Yes--they just got married like three years ago. What I can't believe is that Eddie Brickell is married to Paul Simon and has been for a long time.

Not listening to much music lately. I'm tired of my cd collection and my car doesn't have XM. I've had Stevie Wonder's "Inner Visions" in the cd player lately. That album really stands the test of time.

The wife has XM on all day long in her horse training arena. Keeps the stupid thing tuned to the 70's station. As Larry the Cable Guy would say, "Can you believe that?" Apparently, it's fun to ride to the sounds of KC and the Sunshine Band. Go figure.
