Congrats on the raise fellow carryout.... My evaluation was a month late, manager got confuzed by the new forums (yeah... right...) Funny how we got the exact same raise (6.75- 7.25... was making 6.00 untill min wage got bumped up)

The retropay was awesome, ontop of an allready good check (34 hours)... It was around $30 extra

7.25 is the standard wage of a carryout who's not mentally challenged, and works hard.

Where do u work and stuff? Any chance for a promotion into a department if you're in retail (farm&fleet FTW)

congrats to you too... im looking to go into the produce deptartment.. tell you the truth..i hate carry out stuff... sure i made 20$ in tips yesturday (im not supposed to take them.. but they somehow end up in my apron pocket lol)..but produce offers better job security, the economy goes baggers are the first gone, produce. nope

Yeah... I report tips, and get them back in a week or two... builds credibility with the boss, provided I get a $100 tip or something... that would be an issue with me...

Carrying stuff out sucks... What really lights my fuse is when a tubby buys some deck stain, paint, or asphalt repair stuff... in 5 gallen containers.

They have me load it into their newer bigazz cab dodge truck, which they parked in a handicapped spot... No tip either, he musta been saving it for mcdonalds:fork_off:

waterskiing behind the cart pusher is fun... When it rains, just put ur feet down, and slide around (at like 2mph)

The lifers hate you, because you "steal" their hours...


I'm hoping to get into automotive, or electronics/housewares... Sell microwaves, speakers, and toilet paper... boyah

That was my contract raise. I get a few more raises until I'm at top pay (in about 2 years). Within a year or two after that, it's time for a new contract, and hopefully it won't be a wussy contract like the last one. The business manager is lucky to have been re-elected, and I hope he knows this, and gets his act together.

whats neat about my company is, if they are late on evaluating you and giving you a raise they will back pay you to the date you were supposed to be evaluated on.
