Look at this 91 325i on ebay

Ahhh, cut the poor hoople a break,likely his first listing,an obvious error but a laff riot nonetheless.
Be fun to email him and ask if he'll end the auction early for a quarter mil.

Yes, 64 with some real reputable sellers in the mix. Wait till ebay assesses their Final Value Fee for the listing

I suppose we could send him a fake money order from Nigeria for 10 million,ask him to cash it and send the leftover bucks to some offshore accounts.

Maybe he changed his mind and doesn't want to sell it. Maybe had a friend bid. Or maybe he sold it locally for a price that's too good to be true. It's local to me, anyone want me to take a look at it?

What is the purpose of this? The second bid was already for more than the car was worth. It isn't like he put the minimum price in wrong, these are multiple schmoes bidding ridiculous prices. Why?

That's a good question. Some of the bidders are respected BMW forum members also. Trying to PM one of them and see what the scoop is.
However, I will take $100K for my 92

Ebay bidding is a Legally binding contract don't forget. Starting bid was$5,500.00, reasonable bid. I can't image how any reputable ebay bidder would consider putting in those kind of numbers, not funny at all. That's one seller who should retain an attorney to collect money due.

Well folks, I emailed the seller and in all seriousness asked if he would be willing to buy a super low mileage one my Doctor owns for the paltry sum of $100,000.00,think I gotta chance to hit the bucks?

It's not the seller who made the mistake, starting bid was a reasonable $5,500

Somehow 65 bidders went berserk, I can't fathom that.
