HAHAHAHAHAHAH....I found a video of this from a news channel. It's funny as hell when the reporter interviews certain people.

This will apply to most states.....see page 2 last two para's.

http://www.lrc.ky.gov/KRS/189-00/940.PDF#search=%22exhaust%20whistle%22

In other words...for those in the 'video' and not emergency vehicle operators on call or pursuit....it's against the law.....

I thought that awfull sound was because of the muffler combined with the horrible rasp of a poorly maintained cheap 4 cylinder.

Those muffler things have not shown up in my area, if they do I'm sure the city council will ban them in about 2 weeks.

I honestly don't see the point of these cars, sure they can get 300hp out of some Acura's, but there FWD! The power can't be put down and they drive like crap.

FYI. 100 Octane gas is not that cheap. Even 93 Octane is a little higher than $3.00

Sorry you have that wrong ricers have a STOCK engine with a aftermarket intake and thats it. 300 HP my ass thats just a pipe dream for them. Now if you want to hear a great sounding 4 banger try a Nissan SR20DETT now that is bad ass when done RIGHT you get a growl from the exhaust and the whine from the turbo's and the sound from the blow off valve (it's that Pshhh sound when they shift) plus they cram more than 400 HP out of one of those I only wish I could ever afford to swap one in my Capri
oh and I heard somebody put a Dixie horn on a beat up Honda WTF and a Toyota truck with dukes of hazard general lee paint on it top that peoples

IMHO the Honda NSX, Honda S2000, and Toyota Supra are the only perfomance cars to come from Japan. Everything else was never ment to be.

That was a funny video, I guess....?

But that's not the noise these are making.

It is like the fan is coming loose from the radiator. Like a whirring noise.

And then there's that sound of like air escaping from something everytime they supposedly are shifting gears......????

Isn't there anyone who has ricer friends with these who know what this **** is??
