'The Producers' from 1970 or so. Mostel & Wilder

Brazil....."My complication had a little complication"

'History of the World'-- Mel Brooks.

I remember the whole theater was cracking up at Beverly Hills Cop.

Napolian Dynamite..."I caught you a delicious bass"
"Make yourself a gol' dang quesi-dilla"

In search of the Holy Grail.

Worst movie ever...Never meant to be a comedy but had the whole theater rolling...'Sahara' ..Starring Brooke Shields

Thanks for reminding me of some great movies I need to see again.

Great flick. I understand that's got a near cult following and I think I read that Bridges shows up for some of their GTGs.

It's blasphemy that I didn't mention these. Among my all time favorites. Sellers was fantastic as Clouseau. Fav is probably 'A Shot in the Dark'. Interrogation scene is genius.

Birdy num-nums?

I think it was (and probably still would be) the most original comedy on television. They were absolutly hilarious. The parts where they communicated with the people on the ground were kinda weird but all in all it might be in my top 5 shows of all time.

You can buy the various season DVD's but they are surprisingly expensive.

Hopefully someone will pick it up in syndication again so I can get my fix.

I think that movie gets extra points for me because the setting reminds me of my home town and we actually had a kid like that in our school.

Except our kid wore bras.

"The Party"...

Ah yes, forgot about that one, can't quote the line, something about Sellers trying to pick up on a girl by offering a ride home in his 3 wheeled Morgan???

May I add Ferris Bueller's Day Off- "GRRRRRACE!"

I'm Canadian so I loved...

....Slapshot

Also I worked at the Vancouver Golf Club for 10 years so Caddyshack (already mentioned) is so funny but true. Almost a documentary

The Holy Grail, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, (both mentioned earlier)

Clerks: Dante says "I'm not supposed to be here today"

Mall Rats, Dazed and Confused (Mathew McCaughey as Wooderson and Ben affleck were hilarious), and so many more..

Shaun

1. The Producers (original)
2. Airplane

(Then, a large step down)

3. It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, World
4. History of The World, Part II

(Then, another step down)

5. Austin Powers (the first one)
6. The South Park Movie
