Got beat last night
There is a new intersection with a light at the bottom of a fairly steep long hill that has become a local drag strip. It seems that whenever I am at the light, another car or truck or whatever pulls up beside me and always wants to show me their stuff going over the hill. I have only been beat one time by a kid in a hopped up ricer and it was very close. BTW,,, this is in my TE. Last night another car did me in pretty good. It was my wife
 in her 400E,,, I should have known better.

I got depressed when I got beaten as well....
Well, I was in my wagon, and my boss was in his CLS.... (AMG tuned that is) Anyways, I got him off the line, as he was on his cell phone. Then I just hear the glorious sound of 5.5 liters with forced induction. I heard the whine of the supercharger, and he was gone.... It is suprising though. I was able to give my bosses wifes ML500 a run for its money in my moms ML320... That was quite funny!

I beat her off the line but around 2nd gear she came flying by,,, and it was all her idea.

ahhhh a trip down memory lane. In my younger days I had a 68' MGB and quite often a guy would come up next to me at a light, rev the engine and off we'd go, sometimes I would win. Then I found it funnier to be at a light ,guy pulls up next to me, he'd rev, I'd rev and when the light turned green he'd gun it like a bat out of hell and I'd just accelerate (sp) normally....tee hee...

I love when people try to race me.I beat an Acura CL in the S500 and a teenager in the 230S.I would love to beat someone in the Previa
that would piss the driver off!!

serious mods cost money... that's accually a good deal (~$100 a HP)...
And it's reliable Time for MODS!!!!!!!!! I've never lost a race... Never "raced" anybody yet, but I dunno, who does? I think the 20% tinted windows on a maroon car scare people off... shiney tires, gleening rims, and freshly waxed paint...  in an 89 olds toronado, WOOT!!! ~Nate

I spanked a '57 Chevy Bel Air that must have had a Vette engine in it or something, I think I had to go about 120 to take him and he was enraged, he had his friends in the car but my wife who was in the car (oops) at the time was enraged at me too!!
Probably I belong in a '72 220D automatic
