I wonder what would happen if people had to use a breathalyzer interlock device in order to be able to post on the forum. :D

While you're counting, I'm almost finished with last week's gin. Tonight's feature is a dirty gin martini made with hot pickled okra. Il est si bon, chers! Well, not really. But you put enough gin in it and it's okay. B |

Oh hattie, our drunk moderator, how we love ye :kid:
|
I've done it before and I am actually more elaborate in my description of things then when I am sober.
Kinda goes with the territory though. Problem is I forget to post. I type a long narrative and then I plain forget. Shot!:behead: |

And yes, he has already backed into something and caused some body damage.   |
This is what I did last time I was drunk....(I don't drink often)
Then my mom almost killed me because the tape didn't want to come off his soft fluffy ears. http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c6...1024062323.jpg |

Couldn't find a Designated Typer,eh? I suppose simply being a Moderator excuses you from always doing things in moderation.

Does it give a better grip on the ears while your getting Dachshound nookie? |

Perhaps he was conducting fixed-wing aeronautical experiments with said dog. Wonder how he binds his "sluts" with tape? |

He's only like 15-18lbs so I can do to him whatever I please. Crappy cellphone pics... http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c6...1024062332.jpg |

I can get myself into enough trouble talking when I've had too much to drink. I don't think I want to risk operating a keyboard under the influence . . .
. . . Alothough I'll be happy to read whatever anybody else cares to share while under the influence.:D |

Ouch, hang over ain't to bad. Figured that since I'm in charge around here I couldn't get into to much trouble trashed.:D
Damn that was good whine, it is white 2004 vintage. Come's from his place in Napa Vallay according to the back of the bottle. |

Next time get a Pinot Noir from Williamette Valley Oregon. Any bottle over 40 bucks will do. It's freaking delicious, I sip that with dinner all the time but only one glass since I don't want to get drunk.
Offtopic...friend sent me this and said it describes me to a T http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y91...f/quagmire.jpg |

See I'm lucky in that regard. I know very little about wine, but I know someone who knows a lot. So he clues me in!:D
Expensive doesn't mean its good either. I remember back in HS my friend and I drank a bottle from his dads stock, we later found out it was a $3k bottle.:D Don't remember being that good but at the time ehh you know. |

Next time you want to tape something's ears, come to BHF and tape these (I'll even supply the tape!): http://berryhillfarm.us/gallery/albu...l_P1050041.JPG I'd bet ol' Plato would even wag his tail too. |

I have an $8 big bottle of Conch y Toro that I like. I'd pour that sucker into a carafe and sell it for $25. Probably 90% of the Rutgers student body would buy it at $25 but wouldn't touch it at $6.00.
What I know about wine is I buy what I like. I will say that I tried a glass or two of good wine that my uncle, who loved wine and could afford it, gave me on my infrequent visits. He'd buy a case at a time of good wine and stick it in his special wine closet. Had a huge collection after half a century of selecting good wines. That ***** was good, yeah! If I could afford really good wine I'd buy a bottle occasionally. Funny, I'll buy a $50 bottle of scotch and not mind it but damned if I'll pay $20 for wine! B |
I have no problem spending $10 on a bottle of wine. I would hesitate greatly spending $60 on a bottle for two reasons. 1. How do I know that another brand at $20 isn't just as good. 2. How do I know that I can tell the difference between a wine that is worth $20 a bottle, and a wine that is worth $60 (or more) a bottle.
Seems that often the price of wine, is like the price of diamonds....completely artificial. |
If you don't have your bottle of Opus One, you can't have your Wine Spectator subscription. How can you have your Wine Spectator subscription if you don't have your bottle of Opus One?

Gin! Drink Gin! Yes, You laddie!

Of course, it is a fixed ratio of how much wine you can get from a bunch of grapes. Fewer bunches equals smaller production for the winery. The farmer expects to get paid relative to the quality of his grapes, not the quantity. So the result is a much more expensive bottle of wine. You can definitely taste the difference between a first growth Bordeaux and a fifth growth or Vin de Pays. This holds true for wines of the same vintage. When you compare vintage to vintage, it gets more complicated because some years are dramatically better than others. |
