Kudos to Howard Dean

People make fun of Crazy Howard, but he brought home the bacon yesterday. We should give credit where credit is due.

I still love his scream after the Iowa primary a few years back. It speaks volumes about what's wrong with this country that the scream hurt him with the voters. I'm not saying that he should have been elected, but the scream shouldn't have made any difference. With all the real issues out there, why would anyone care whether a guy likes to yell now and then?

Why the change of heart?

The American public can be summed in four easy words.

Deal or No Deal.

A F*CKING gamshow that doesn't require a grain of intelligence. And people watch it. Imagine that!!!

Pretty much sums it up, although Dems are giving credit to Dean for resisting calls to just dump tons of money into a small number of races they felt they could win. Instead Dean wanted to run as comptitively as possible everywhere. Seems to have been the right strategy for this election.

Then again, we still have our Dean bumper sticker on the truck.

I did the search for you, I have been slamming Bush and Rumsfeld since '04.

IMO the Dem's could have easily won in '04 if they were specific and direct about the problems with the Whitehouse, the Haliburton bro haha and anything but Bush message did not cut it, they got got that message and played hard ball.

I hope they act on the promises they made during the campaign.

I can taste the vomit in my mouth agreeing with you. I watched that show for 5 minutes and would do damn near anything to get that time back.

...if only they would have had an agenda back in '04.

They still don't really have one. This time out, they tried to out-conservative the Republicans by having essentially the same values but looking cleaner. Many of the new Dems elected are pretty conservative; look at Casey in PA, for instance. Pro-life and anti-gun control. He won because he seems less smarmy than Santorum, it seems to me.

I watched Deal or No Deal for a while the other night. I enjoyed it, but can't see spending any more time with it. The game requires no skill, but it was interesting to watch the contestant struggle with the banker's offers. But now I've been there and done that. Can't see watching it again.

One thing I'm happy with, some of the candidates that won are Iraq veterans. When it comes to making the call whether or not we do need to go to war, helps to have people that have had first hand experience making the call. And know that war is not a f#####g video game, that people on both sides are going to die.

Well, apparently you've got me there. I was always reading that both you and Bot were as pro-Bush as they came. Hurrah for the war, and Hurrah for the administration. I'll have to say that I may have had you figured wrong.

(No vomit needed.)
