I have learned to not get too worked up over OD. We do have freedom of speech here after all and everyone is entitled to their opinion. I got hot at Kamil once and apologized to him and the moderator. His favorite thing was to ruffle feathers, like some that are still here. I don't buy into it anymore.

Besides I like this forum mostly for the DD and I watch the OD sometimes, but it can get a bit obtuse at times, and I figure some just want to piss everyone off. I have my father in law for that.

Maybe so. But when you go tell that person publicly that he/she is a duck, that might be a problem. It is one of the forum rules and is in a sticky so one cannot say "OMG!! It was against the rules? I didn't know!" and get away with it.

No kidding. When my parents said things to upset my wife, it was fine and dandy. When she retaliated back, WTF!! I think I saw a show once that said "He who sets out to kill must first be prepared to die."

You guys know the score - it's written in the forum rules and stickied as well. If you directly insult a forum member, you get an infraction. If you directly insult a mod - it's an immediate ban (temp. or permanent, up to the mod).

So direct insults towards mods aren't tolerated at all.

So - of you have a problem with a mod, I'd recommend discussing it directly with that person and staying polite. I can't speak for the other mods, but I hold myself to the same standard. No direct insults or personal attacks from my end either.
