That all depends upon which school you graduated from I suppose.

Almost everyone expected UF would be pounded outright by Ohio State. Everyone would exclude me. From the beginning, I've been saying that Ohio State's players would become cocky and complacent.(mainly because I'm a UF grad) Indeed they have. They're down 34-14 with no comeback in sight. You might as well be ready to accept the lashing that an unprepared team rightly deserves. The steamroller has been started and Urban Myer is at the wheel.

It's nothing new, really -- it Big 10 tradition by now, as anyone in Pasadena could tell you. But honestly, going for 4th and 1 deep in your own territory in the 2nd quarter? Dumb as a rock.......

A ruthless pounding it was indeed. 41-14 certainly proves a point to anyone. The GATORS are absolutely without a doubt the NATIONAL CHAMPIONS of NCAA Football AND Basketball. Enough said.

A sad end indeed, but at least they didn't look like the Bad News Bears for most of the game.

Yeah boy.......in the south thats called handing your hinny to you on a platter..........

Sad thing is, Ohio govenor made an on-the-air bet with the governor of Florida and it was agreed that whoever lost would have to fly the winning colleges' flag over the state capital..........Tell the governor to fly it high for all to see...........

It just proves my point that the Big 10 was very weak this year.

The proof is in the pudding. The #1 and #2 teams in the Big 10 (Ohio State and Michigan) both got spanked in their bowl games.

USC embarrassed Michigan in the Rose Bowl (again).

If only USC hadn't of played its worst game of football in the last 5 years against UCLA.

I would love to see USC play Florida. Now that would be a great game.

Year after year..... I'm no Big 10 or Ohio State fan, I was just hoping to see an entertaining and competitive game played for the national championship, and was sorely disappointed. Given their track record in big bowl games, I shouldn't have been surprised.

Heck, I'd like to see Boise St. play Florida or USC...

Talk about shameful, or more accurately, shameless,
Just be thankful that the Number 1 Big 10 homer wasn't doing the play by play.
Somewhere today in this great land Brent Mussburger is still crying in his beer because the Big 10 kings UM & OSU got steamrollered!

Am I the only one who thinks this guy is the absolute worst play by play announcer on TV?

Where have you gone Keith Jackson. Age didn't slow him down one bit imo. The best ever!

You betcha. Keith Jackson is the best ever.

He called all the Pac10 games the past several years with Dan Fouts, but retired at the end of last year.

He lives out in the San Fernando valley in a town called Sherman Oaks.
