I get TONS of junk mail daily from credit card and insurance companies trying to sell me credit cards, auto insurance , life insurance, loans, etc. It keeps my paper shreadder going almost constantly!

Well, to my surprise, there is a solution I just discovered...
It is called 888-5-OPT-OUT. Do a search on Google and you will see it is legit.

The reason you are getting these offers is because the 3 major credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian, TransUnion) are releasing the information. If you call 888-5-OPT-OUT (1-888-567-8688) you can request them to not release this information and thereby stop getting credit offers and insurance offers for 5 years.
Note- Call from your home phone and verify your name and address. Also, you will have to provide your SS# and date of birth.
