I see ads for it all the time in GMail, looks like a big dumb scam.

Car companies don't make money off of selling car wax/polish.

Sounds like Liquid Glass. Apply pre conditioner cleaner then 2 coats of Liquid Glass. One year later still beads and shines great. Anyone else tried Liquid Glass?

Is that the stuff I've seen at Autozone that comes in a can? Is the prep work really involved aka I have to clay the whole damn car which takes 3 hours? I always hated the prep work in detailing

Yep, about $25 buck for prep cleaner and liquid. I didn't clay although maybe I should have, the professional preferred method. Maybe next time if the stuff wears off.

What would you recommend to bring some life into some old, tired paint? Lots of sun cracks on top facing panels, polishing didn't seem to do a darn thing. I've always used Liquid Luster and been pleased with the results, but I guess the life has already been sucked out of my paint.

Five Star 'Shine? Sure, I'm familiar with that. We used to make that down in North Carolina until the revenoowers blew up our still. . . .
