You need to get quieter running shoes for your fridge!!

Oh and as I said before we just bought a W/D set. I was really leaning towards FP, but ended up going with a sweet Kenmore front-loader set. It's very nice, but I could do without all the buttons/knobs/lights. Just wash the damn clothes and tell me when they're done.
the "drawer which is their niche" does not work well the real capacity is limited and it does an average job washing. The drying cycle also seems to be kinda weak.

Now FP washing machines are a whole new story, they are by far the best.

I called a live am radio classified show a few years back;

" Hello, I'm looking for a used dishwasher, 21-30 years old, I prefer brunettes."

"Good luck with that" was the reply.....

oh yeah- stay awat from amana appliances. junk. I guess, what do you expect from a company thats motto is" built better than it HAS to be."

We bought the same series - the santize feature will also destroy all those Mickey Dee and BK plastic cups that kids like to hord

Tall tub for the pots and back fed upper wash arms are a must. Sound attenuation is a big deal and they're all working at that so getting comparison numbers should be easy. WP's internal wash scores put Kenmore requirements slightly higher than their own branded units. Drawer style washers in general are little more than a fad, nice packaging but little cleaning ability.

If you want high end performance, Viking is starting up their new plant next month, and it will make an all new dishwasher. (they had been rebranding a european product till now) we've been working on our part of this project for over 3 years and they have delayed the project on their end majorly to make sure they got it right. I haven't seen a completed unit yet, but based on what I've seen so far, I'm going to hold onto our GE POS while I save my pennies to get one of these.
