I don't guess too many of you are going to be interested in hearing me complain about what an unusually cold winter we're had here.

Went for about a week recently where it didn't get much higher than 35F. Below freezing at night. Oh poor baby!

Today, high - 57F, low 40F.

If you got up early this morning, you would've found it a lot colder outside.
Myself, I put on long underwear (saved a pair from many moons ago), and a t-shirt, and a sweat shirt.
Once I had my coat on, I was fine.
I try not leave the house before the morning dew has burned off, I do start work at 4am but I don"t dare venture outside if it requires me wearing anything other than shorts and mandals

Do you have fiber service?
Yes, recently Verizon has been tearing up the neighborhood with fiber installation, for now I am on DSL which has worked out fine for me

It's about 10F here right now. This weekend it's supposed to be 0F for a high. Might be the coldest day of the year, though not the coldest I've seen. I'm just glad I'm not in Eveleth MN.

Good ole' Minnesota.
The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in Duluth.

Damn that place was cold.

The guys tearing the place up are contractors - if you see anything that is grossly out of order, let me know. Inspectors are supposed to check everything, but sometimes they miss something here and there.
I hear it's supposed to get past 70° tomorrow!

I must admit the crews that installed fiber in my neighborhood were fast and tidy. No complaints so far....yup over 70F today, off I go to golf.

-12F at my house. We're racing tomorrow at 11:30am. I have no experience at the temp. I might just stay home.

It must be in the high fifties here today. Wow! I walked outside this afternoon and it felt like summer compared to last weekend. Now, if it'll just stay this way long enough for these damned mountains of ice to melt.
