Interesting that there were three members of this forum at Enrique's at the same time.

And yet, Enrique does not even know how to access the web. So he can't read all the good things we post about him here.

I may be back on Wednesday. He ordered a new ignition tumbler for the car and it will be in on Wednesday.

Tall white guy  ?

Yes, the Coupe cought my eye, like I said, it's nice. I wouldn't call it "fire-engine red" though. It's more in the way of a "Ferrari red". It even goes well with the interior color, I'm normally a little allergic to "tan interior".

I was too preoccupied with my parts issue because he already told me on the phone there was a problem, but just when I left, I saw you guys hugging around your car inside the shop and in the back of my head that voice was trying to tell me, that the 2 of you could be MB-shop members.

Well, next thing, I was headed out on the street.

Amazing, I was wondering, if Enrique sometimes reads his ratings. I told him about all the good words on the site when I came first, all he said was: "Is that right?"

There is a movie that plays almost exclusively around Gaudi's structures, I forgot the title though.

BTW, Dali has taken over my Avatar space and posted another pic in the signature.

HUGGING???

I think huddling is more like it. :D

Enrique is completely "clueless" about all the good things that are being written about him here. He was genuinely shocked when we showed up that Saturday morning with the plaque.

The look on his face was: "Four cars to fix? On a Saturday morning?" :D

Once he realized why we were there, he seemed to be truly humbled by the experience.

He is unique in the level of concern he has for his clients. He can't believe how far some people travel to see him. Last Wednesday he told me about a man that showed up, on a real busy day, with an ailing Benz. Enrique couldn't see him and had to send him away. Turns out that the man had driven all the way from San Diego.

Enrique was upset with the man. Not because he showed up w/o an appointment on a busy day...BUT because the man never mentioned how far he had traveled. Had he known, he would have taken him ahead of the other cars he was already working on!

I'll have t have a word with you on this one ... or even a few words.
It's not really any of my business and usually I strictly stay clear of other peoples business.

BUT, since this a blog, I wouldn't be who I am without pinching a few bubbles here and there.

I'm one of few individuals who don't have any problems.
I only create or solve problems.

Was the donkey a joke?

Only Harley Davisdson dealers follow the practice of putting "on the road
customers" at the head of the line. It sounds like a wise practice indeed.:idea2:

I think it would benefit my own car highly for a visit to this shop in the spring or later perhaps and try to meet some of you and some of the other enthusiasts down there. I could really provide Ernesto with some things to do.

Perhaps some of the comments about MR.MB could be printed out and put in a binder and presented to him, to prove they are real.
It would look good in his waiting room I would think

I feel the same way.

I don't get ulcers. I give them.

I don't get stressed. I stress people out. :twak:

"Was the donkey a joke?"

DUH!

We did not use donkeys in our coffee business.

"Provide Ernesto with some things to do?"

well, you have a standing invitation for lunch at a nearby Cuban restaurant. Just let me know ahead of time so I can clear my calendar.

Alon, the originator of the plaque idea (his father was Enrique's immigration lawyer) had mentioned the idea of a binder with all the posts about Enrique's shop. It sounds like a good idea.

Ahhh, there goes the 'comely bosom' again.
Besides Dali's bizarre elements, I really like his colorization, almost across the board.

Well, I really think it's none of my business, so I rather drop it, for now.
Maybe at another opportunity, it might fit in better. :kid:
