I think so too. You need to round out the collection. I like the W123 coupes. The W126 coupes seem to be too big for me.

Mine weighs 3650. What does your 124 weigh?

They drive small.

Like the 500E?

What happened to your new keyboard?

t walgamuth 02-04-2007 11:03 PM

i was thinking about my 500sec.

but i bet the 500e feels small too, when you mash the throttle.

i want one of them one of these days.

Capitalization is just so much work. I feel you all are smart enough to realize when the sentences begin with out it.

right?

I believe those numbers are dead on the money. Look like the numbers MBUSA used to have ( & I read years ago) on their website.

On price, the coupe was about 8-8.5k higher than the sedan in 1988. Think the msrp on the 4 door was about 46k or so.

Wonder where the other 2,733 1988 coupes are?;)

Try this link to the 16 year model overview of the E320 coupe.
I can't find these production and price figures posted there any longer.
But if memory serves me correctly, the figures from post one are correcet.

MUSA no longer has that information. :(

I am sitting at Enrique's shop. brought the coupe in for a change of bodily fluids (I always like to do that everytime I buy a "new/used" car.)

Sitting across from me is "fpharryc." He lives in Fresno, but he drives all the way down to L.A. to have Enrique work on his cars.

I love this community of friends, bound together by our love of Benzes.

He owns a white 1990 300CE with grey interiors. Enrique is working on it today. It is a very nice and classy looking car.

It feels like a coupe convention here today. :D

These are defintely limited production numbers for these cars. No limited editions just limited production!
