Am I missing something here......

Built on a stretched FIERO frame?
Gets so much attention you may have to tow her home?
V6?
Overheating problem?
$42,000?
Am I sniffing glue?

The only one sniffing the glue is the seller. It's one of the best kits I've ever seen but it's not worth $42K. Only posers drive lookalikes. I'll save up for a real one.

If you wanna real laugh, read the text!

"4 SPEED TRANSMISION"...... OOOOOH, I bet it's an automatic too!

"Custom Exhaust System (Very Loud LIKE A V12)"...... Yeah,,, Like a V12 cut in half!

"I have owned many sports cars in my life, and this one is sure to please.".... Sure, anyone who hasn't driven the real thing...... Maybe.

"THIS CAR GETS SO MUCH ATTENTION!!! SO PLEASE BE PREPARED TO TOW HER SOME TIMES!".... I'm not sure what this means but it doesn't sound like a selling feature.

"Engine Sounds UNREAL!"..... UUUH, true statement?!?!

And the number one comment!!!!!!

"Tires Have a lot of tread left".... GEEEEE, I wonder why?

My eyes hurt from reading all the large, bold and colorful ad print.

My 300CE also has a 4 speed tranny and a 6 cyl. engine.

Maybe I can also get $42k for her.

BTW, does the bid price include the cheap, sleazy blond?

BTW, thanks for the link. It is one of the funniest ads I've seen in a long time! Maybe I'll send it to Jay Leno, he'll get a kick out of it.

Nothing says driving excitement like a stretched out, overloaded Pontiac Fiero! A name that strikes fear in drivers of inferior cars amongst the enthusiast crowd.

I was amused by that ad.

Why the hell doesn't he put a supercharger or a GN turbo V6 in it?
For that matter I've seen V8 conversion kits for those.

The only reason he is selling....so he can buy a house.
But later in the ad he said he will trade for vehicles valued over $50k.

It also said the tranny was rebuilt with new synchros and clutch. So it must be a 4spd manual. If that is the case it has to be a pre-86 Fiero.

http://www.kitcars.com/Classifieds/AdDetails.asp?classified_id=9267

Like you guys said, it does look like a very nice kit BUT $50K???????

Its a decent kit car, but its still a poser car. Anyone who buys it is a poser and I will make fun of them to no end!

$42k is nuts, one could buy a Ferrari for that kind of money.

I dunno, after seeing shots of that lady in the fishnet stockings, I'm thinking about it...

Guy will be real lucky to get more than $10 K for it, I'm thinking. You'd be working on that for the rest of your life. And it would still be hard to get in and out of.

Overheating problems can be a real *****, in my experience. Never worked on a kit car but I could imagine remedying that problem could be a real PITA -- not enough room to maneuver stuff into place.

If it was so easy to fix, he'd have done it by now so he wouldn't even have to mention it.

while i was getting the plow on my scout fixed at the blacksmith shop, there were two fieros there. one had a 350 chebby in it. it looked like it grew there. i hear they will really jump.

the looks of the fiero is not what lack.

that would be more attractive to me than a lambo/ fiero.

and frankly it doesn't attract me all that much.

Look at the window switch... Is that from a MB????????????????????????????/

WTFH how many cars are in this thing?

Looks like a nice kit car, but, it's still a kit car with an overheating V6...
take a zero off and i'd consider it...

the girl should ditch the fishnets... and the handcuffs...
that's kinda spooky...

The lady in the fishnet serves as a good metaphor for the car: trying hard to morph something plain into something exotic. Poor thing doesn't realize how awkward she looks.

Also, kinda funny he would include pictures of the rig before it was unloaded on one of the many tow rides home.
