I wonder if you bothered to actually read my post at all.
You reckon Nate'll appreciate your Margraten comment ?? Perhaps consider to take it back.

Wear the uniform with pride, knowing that millions have gone before you and many millions are going to sleep a little safer at night and have a better chance for liberty because of your sacrifice.

Good for you Nate! Thats one thing I kind of wish I did when I got out of HS. I was just thinking that the other day actualy, I could have gotten into OCS and have been in 3 years already. The armed forces have to much to offer I kind of wish I went down that path..oh well such is life.

Best to you Nate !!

My nephew joined the Marine reserve 3.75 years ago.
Twice was told he was going to Iraq and twice the plans changed. Then he was supposed to go elsewhere and that plan was changed.
He was already working as a civil engineer and volunteer fireman for forestry service.
Now recently he graduated again from Firefighting school after being hired by the fire department in Southern California.
He will re-inlist with the reserves. Semper Fi !

So go out there and do good !!

yeah, Nateid15... When I first got intereasted in that old green car in the shed, under about half an inch of dust, bird crap, and mouse terds...

Cleaned it up nice, the paint's in awesome shape, runs great. I need to do a valve adjustment, but I dunno when I'm gonna have time, since I dont drive that car except on nice summer days/nights..... It's my summer cruiser, I take it to the shows and everything. Gets a decent amount of attention, as does the 17 year old kid driving it. I took it to a car show once when I was 15......... It was 2 blocks from my house, and I couldnt resist...

Everybody loved it, seeing a kid driving a car 2x his age.

Anyways yeah, I dont know my MOS , I'm being accually being sent up to the cities to take my ASVAT test... Hotel stay friday night, tests and screening morning and afternoon, and being driven back down saterday evening.

My mom signed the consent form tonight, but she doesnt want me to go away...........................................................
She signed, I'm going. She knows I've wanted to do this for a few years now, and that if she wont let me, i'm going when im 18 anyways. Just that motherly thing...
Tks for the support everybody, I appreciate it.

As I said above,in your posts you have consistently shown a level of maturity and judgement far above many twice your age,so God Bless,Good luck and make the most of any educational/vocational opportunities.

I tried to enlist when I was your age but was rejected for medical reasons. I have no doubt you will do us all,and your nation proud.

Don't forget to keep us posted on your progress as most of us here will be thinking of you.
