I didn't miss any payments before it was reposessed. I called the finance company and told them where to pick up the car (the repair shop) as soon as i knew i could not afford to repair the car. i have not checked yet to see if the repo shows up on my credit yet.
It might not be on your credit report just yet I would find out if I were you. Then you will have a better idea of what situation you are in.
