I would have never guessed we had that many satellites orbiting the earth. Pretty soon we're going to need space junkyards.

According to the site, 95% of the stuff tracked IS debris!
I wonder if NASA accounts for it when they launch anything in space? Consider the damage (and possible fatalities) that could occur if a 24,000-mph spacecraft gets t-boned by a 5000-lb. piece of junk, travelling orbitally at 2000 mph?!!!
