Took a ferry boat ride around the GG Bridge around Alcatraz & back....
 it was cold out there.....

Fun stuff! I lived there '79-'04 and really enjoyed the place. NOT
a Mercedes-Benz friendly environment however. I still miss SF, with all the problems there. Looks like you had a nice time there. It's great for walking also, if you know where you want to go.

Oh dang, if you would have let me know, I would have bought you lunch. I am only an hour from the bay area, and its always cool to meet members from other areas!
The city is a nice place, but not fun for nice cars.. We took a carload of people down to the bay, but the only car big enough to fit all the people was my friends H2. We parked it, and when we got back, it had been egged, and people left a note saying that were killing the enviroment... Oh well.
