The reserve is actually a little less than what we paid for the car.We also put in some money for repairs. One amazing thing is how quickly the car starts no matter the temperature.I barely turn the key and immediately the car starts.

Would you happen to be liquidating a few of your vehicles?

Actually,we are selling both S500's (1994 for $8000 and 1998 for $15000) and the 420SEL.If the 1998 is sold,theres a good chance that a 2003 S600 will take its place.

Good choice. Might want to think about a warranty as well. My factory just expired, so I'm exploring 3rd party options. Not many will wty. an S600, but there are a few.

Not sure, you'd have to call. That link I posted has some solid leads f/S600 owners.

Edit: This one in particular might be worth looking into. http://forums.mbworld.org/forums/showpost.php?p=2165157&postcount=12

I'd also check with the dealer and see which 3rd party wty's they'll work with.

How do you like your S600?I had a 2000 S500 and I didnt like it all.I traded-it in for my 1998 S500,people in the dealership thought I was crazy.I was considering an S500 or S55 (2003+),but none of them have rear heated or rear reclining seats.

I like it. It's comfortable and fast. It's way more car than I need however, too showy and has an excessive amount of gizmos. However, the torque is intoxicating, that's what won me over in the end.

When something breaks, it'll be big bucks, so an extended wty. will take precedence over any RennTech mods at this point. We'll see.

I like having power, the S500's are really powerful. We've been with the 500-series since the 560SEL's and S-classes since the 50's,but we have never owned an S600.Those cars are just magnificent.
