Sennheiser Headphones.

I need to replace the Bose headphones that I have. They sound great but are starting to break. After hearing my buddies set of Sennheiser headphones, I need something that sounds as good as they do! No more bose.

What brands do you guys have/reccomend? Sennheiser good? Sony? Bose? Shure?

I have Sennheiser MX-51 earbuds. They sound great. Good, tight bass. The B&O's might sound better, but for my use (riding the metro, connected to an iPod) I have no need for $100+ headphones. They aren't the prettiest earbuds, but who buys headphones to look cool?

I have an old pair of HD-265 headphones. They're awesome, but had an original list price of close to $300.

What kind? Earbuds? If you're looking for cans, I'd check out Grado headphones.

Grado for open back headphones.

Sennheiser for everything else. I'm a DJ and I've been using a pair of hd-280pro's for three years now.

Soon I'll be upgrading to a set of HD-25's. The industry standered

I wanna get ear-bud type headphones. My buddies got a pair of Sennheiser DJ headphone, and they sound great, which makes me want to try them out.

Any other reccomendations for headphone before I dish our 100$ for the Sennheiser earbuds I want?

I don't know exactly what you seek, but I've been very pleased with my set of Westone UM1 "in-ear" earphones. I bought mine here.

They're the sort that really go in your ear - like a set of foam earplugs - so they provide a lot of passive noise reduction. That suits me, as I can listen to stuff at a the volume level I want rather than having to crank it way up just to overcome background noise. For me, they sound - and fit - great.

I am more than happy to go with bose again, but I just want to explore other options.

Stay as far away from BOSE as possible.

If you are tired of compromising your listening experience, get those Sennheiser headphones you want and you'll be happy for a long long time.

The first moment you tune in the $100 investment will forgotten already, infact you'll be so glad you spent the money ...

I have been using Sennheiser headphones since almost 40 years and believe it or not, I'm on my 3rd set ...which I think is pretty good for about 37 years of quality listening.

Good luck!

No High?

No Low?

Got to be Bose

Try HeadRoom for a great listing of cans and in ear monitors (ear buds). The reviews are quite honest... they make their money off headphone amps and sell everything else at a steep discount. Great people too... its always a pleasure talking with their staff.

My primary set are AKG K601s.
